Hi I'm Mary Young

I love playing and listening to music. I have a bone collection and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love playing music, I know how to play the guitar and am learning how to play the piano. I love to sing in choirs, and when no one is around to hear me but that's just because I'm shy. I love listening to music, though usually it is foreign because personally I'm not big on american music. I have a bone collection. I LOVE it. This bone collection of mine started when my friend and I were exploring in the woods and we just started to find these random bones (don't worry none of them are human bones) and I started to take them home because i thought they looked cool. Then everytime my friend and I went to the woods, we would look for bones and I would keep them. My favorite bone in my collection is one that my mom found on the beach when I was having a bad day. It's the skull of a sandpiper. I love my friends but if you aren't one of my friends then you may just think that I am a mute because I seriously don't talk to anyone but my friends (only because I am painfully shy).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I got baptised into the religion. I believe that it is the correct religion because it has been revealed to me too many times for me to ignore it and say that it isn't the true religion. Each and every small whispering that I get when I am reading my scriptures, praying, or in the church building makes me believe that this is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I know that it is really the small and simple things that help build the foundation for a strong and sturdy testimony. When I read my scriptures it makes it easier for me to live my life in a way that is more pleasing to the Lord. When I pray to God I actually can feel a closeness to Him. I go to church not just because it is what I am supposed to do, but because it is like a sancuary where I know that my testimony will be reinforced though the testimonies of others.
