Hi I'm Keith Noorda

I grew up in the United States. I have a twin brother. I am a Mormon. I am serving a mission in Germany.

About Me

I have an older sister and a twin brother. I play tennis, soccer, and volleyball. I also like to play guitar. I am an eagle scout. I went to college for a semester and are now heading out on a mission to Germany for my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church. What I have learned in the church has always made sense to me, it has felt right. The matter of having faith in the church is different though. I didn't really have faith until I decided to find out for myself. There was one Sunday when I was helping pass the sacrament that we ended up being one cup short. I was the only one that had not been able to partake of the sacrament yet and I figured that we would just move on with the meeting. This was not the case. The sacrament prayer was given again so that I might partake as well. Why am I a Mormon? I am a Mormon because I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ cares about every single last one of us personally. I have more than a knowledge that the church is true, I have faith. I have faith because of the effect I see it has in my life, the blessings I have recieved, and the trials I have been able to endure. I have faith because I have seen the Lord's hand in my life when I live by the precepts the Lord has given us to live by. I have faith because of the feeling that I get, the feeling that testifies to me that it is true, and the resulting peace in my life that follows. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do various service projects with members of my ward. I have been out with missionaries to help teach lessons to people interested in the LDS church and am preparing to serve a mission in Germany.
