Hi I'm Adam

I am from Seattle. I am living in Taiwan. My favorite color is pink. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently living in Taiwan as a missionary. I love it here. It gives me a chance to experience new cultures, eat new foods, meet new friends, and learn Chinese, all while helping other people. I have studied for two years at Everett Community College and earned an Associate Degree in Business and I hope to continue and major in Accounting. I don't really know what I want to do with that but I have some time to think about it. Just in general, I can be labeled as a happy person. I go through life with the perspective of no matter what trials or challenges you have, just push though it and it will be over with soon. It helps me not get caught up on the little day-to-day things that can stress us out. I live by the motto, "Today is a happy day." Its the best way to go.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Its because of the peace and the comfort it has given me. There have been times when I feel like something is missing from my life and through reflection I realize it it because I am not doing the basic things we are taught to do like prayer or reading scriptures. I have come to understand that it is only through living all of the guidelines and principles that the Church teaches, that we are able to become happier than we have ever been, and we can continue to have that blessing everyday of our lives.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission for the church, but beforehand I was a teacher for 6-7 year old children. It was super fun teaching and getting to know these little kids. And at the same time trying to help them understand the basics of the Jesus Christ and his teachings. Right now on my mission, I am doing the exact same thing, but the only difference is that I am sharing with everyone, and helping them understand and gain a testimony in Jesus Christ and the happiness the Gospel can bring into their lives.
