Hi I'm Sister Cassy King

I grew up in Utah. I am a daughter of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ upon the earth again. I know that the priesthood- the power and authority of God has been restored upon the earth and that it was given to Joseph Smith Jr. And through the Holy Ghost or the Spirit he was able to translate the Book of Mormon. I like to snowboard, ski, skate, basketball, baseball, volleyball, fine arts and much more. Love to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father, that Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ upon the earth. I know the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion, because it's witness of Christ. It is our doctrine of the restoration and a testimony to all that read it's words. The Book of Mormon was written for our day and it will bring us nearer to God. I know this truth through the Holy Ghost which is a gift from God. I am grateful for the Plan of Salvation and the hope and peace that it brings for all. I am thankful for this gospel of Jesus Christ and the hope, light and life it brings. By following the commandments, laws and ordinances we are blessed by the one who promised the blessings. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I loved being a missionary. And I loved serving the people in the Long Beach California mission very much. I loved working with 3 year old children teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Strive to strengthen others day by day.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Sister Cassy King
Praying, reading the words of Christ in the Book of Mormon a prophet named Alma compares faith to a seed, if planted and nourished it will grow and bear fruit.(Alma 32:28-43). If we are obedient to God's commandments, study and apply His words, desiring to believe in Christ, faith will grow inside of you. My allegance is always in my Savior, Light of the world, the Prince of peace. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Sister Cassy King
Yes Mormons are Christian and believe in Christ, just like any Christian. Gordon B. Hinckley, prior President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1995-2008), said: "The only perfect Man who ever walked the earth, the living Son of the living God. He is our Savior and our Redeemer through Jesus Christ atoning sacrifice has come the opportunity of eternal life. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints pray and worship in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the center of our faith and the head of our Church. The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ and witnesses of His divinity, His life, and His Atonement." Show more Show less
