Hi I'm Morgan

I am a thinker, reader, and writer. Harry Potter fan. Music lover. Exercise addict. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently an Exercise Science major at BYU, although I am taking a break from school for 18 months while I serve an LDS mission in Tampa, Florida. I grew up reading for fun, which turned into a love of writing. I play piano and harp, and making playlists is my passion. I am the oldest of six children, and my family is by far the most important thing in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church. My parents taught me from a young age to choose the right when faced with a difficult decision. They taught me about God's love and repentance and having faith. But I started to gain my own testimony when I was a teenager. I can honestly say I know that this gospel is true. I am a Mormon because this church has brought me so much happiness. It helps me to improve myself and become a better person. It teaches love and charity, hope and faith, and dependence on our ever-merciful Heavenly Father. I know I am truly a daughter of God and that He loves me and knows me individually. This church brings joy to all its members. I can't imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

At BYU, I was called as a home evening activity leader, where I planned activities and lessons for a small group within my ward every Monday night with my partner. I also did visiting teaching monthly, where me and another girl in the ward would visit a couple girls in the ward to provide support and friendship, along with a short spiritual message. I attend church every Sunday and strive to consistently go to the temple. Currently I am preparing to serve an LDS mission in Tampa, Florida, where I will share my faith in the Spanish language. I am so excited to share this precious gospel and bring happiness to those I meet in my mission!
