Hi I'm Annalee Landeen

I was born and raised in beautiful Utah. I love spending time with my family. I love sports and music and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in an LDS home. My parents raised me in the church. I haven't done anything extraordinary but the little accomplishments are important to me. I have my Associates degree and am planning on studying Exercise Science and Physical Therapy. Our bodies are amazing creations! I love playing sports, with basketball being my favorite. I love music! I play the piano, the ukulele, and the guitar. I absolutely love it! Recently I have discovered a passion for writing songs. I hope someday I can write songs to uplift and inspire others. Music is such a big part of my life. I have lived a very blessed life and love to help others. There are so many people that go through the hardest things and I try to help ease their burdens as much as possible. I do know that we are never given anything too hard for us, and that we are never alone. I am currently serving a mission in Sunny San Diego! I love sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing in the world that can offer the happiness and peace which comes from living the gospel and being embraced in the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I would be nothing without Him and my loving Heavenly Father. I know these things because I have experienced them for myself. They are anxiously waiting to embrace any who come unto them! We do that by following their teachings. I know they love us!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints because I know its true. I have experimented upon His word. I have lived and live the principles that I have been taught starting as a child. My testimony has been growing bit by bit since I was in primary. As I live the principles of the gospel I feel the spirit. I know what I am doing is the right thing. I can't say that I have one overpowering experience that has convinced me of the truth of the gospel. I have had so many little experiences that occur repeatedly when I am doing the right thing. It is because of these experiences that I continue to live the gospel. I have been so blessed as I have made a sincere effort to become like Jesus Christ. The person I am today is because of my Heavenly Father and my Savior. I have felt them strengthen me and my efforts. I know they love me and I want to do all I can to show my love in return.

How I live my faith

Before my mission I was attending a Young Single Adult ward (YSA). To help out in my ward I helped plan a weekly activity held on Monday evenings. We call this Home evening. We gather together for a spiritual thought and then we participate in an activity whether its a service project, ice skating, game night etc. This just allows people to come have fun and make new friends. I live my faith by doing my best to follow the Savior. My example shows people what I believe. In most cases actions speak louder than words. Serving others and reaching out to be someone's friends are important things I try to do to help others. In so many cases a friend is all that is needed to help someone embrace the gospel.
