Hi I'm Alejandra Ayala

I'am a Mexican, an architect, a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Obregon, Sonora. I became a mormon at the age of 13. I studied architecture.

Why I am a Mormon

I came to know the church when I was 13 years old, 2 missionary sisters visited our house and talked to us about the great plan of happiness that our heavenly father had made especially for us, so we would be able to understand how to be happy in this life and even more in the life to come. When I heard that message I remembered things that my parents had teached me in my youth and even though in that time I was going to an other church, I felt something in my heart that kept me curious I felt very happy each time they visited us. So I prayed... I didn't see any big manifestation or heard a voice telling me that what those young women were telling me was true, but i felt much happiness and peace, so I decided to get baptized and so did the rest of my family. One year latter we got sealed as an eternal family in the temple, it was a wonderfull experience. I recived a true testimony that this was in fact the church of Christ one day that i went with the missionary sisters to visit some people that were investigating the church, it's funny because it was a very long day we walked a lot, the neighborhood we went to was very humble, the streets weren't even paved, my shoes were all full of mud but I didn't even feel tired, I remember that, when i got home i kneel to pray to my heavenly father to thank him for the beautifull experince that he let me lived, to be able to visit those families, I remember being so happy and gratefull, my heart got filled with joy and in that moment of my prayer I felt something in my heart that confirmed me that our heavenly father was there, that he loved me, and I that this was His church. From that moment on I have never doubted of this gospel because I now I'm sure that he lives, He loves us so much that he gave his only son Jesuschrist, so through him we would be able to, one day, return to live with him like families in perfect happiness.

How I live my faith

When i turned 19 I was called as a consultor in family search, i was abble to help others find their ancestors and that made my developed an even bigger love for genealogy. Right now I'm a teacher of sunday school i teach young girls and boys of ages 14-17 I love to work with the youth because they have a lot of energy and they are full of faith and dessaire to progres, i learn a lot of them and they always inspire me to keep on doing my best so I can be better example for them. As a young adult i participate in a lot of activities like planning dances. We find lots of ways to have fun while we live the gosspel. I love the gosspel because it gives you many ways you can serve others and devolped a great love for everyone and that way you don't forget about how important you are in the plan of our heavenly father.
