Hi I'm Nicola

I'm a kiwi, I love to travel, I'm a proud Aunty and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing and dance and love being a bookworm. I am an avid Harry Potter fan and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My mum calls me a social butterfly because I enjoy being around people and having fun a lot. I come from an average size family and am an Aunty to 3 beautiful children. Because of my dads work our family have travelled and lived in many different places. Because of that I love to travel and spend time learning about other countries.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I chose to be. My parents examples and influences helped me at a young age to gain a relationship with my Heavenly Father. Each time my parents would consider moving to another country because of my Dad's job we gathered together as a family and talked about it and then we each went away, prayed about it and then returned with the answer we received. Each time the families decision was unanimous and it was awesome to see as a child how I could receive specific answers to specific prayers. That pattern continued to help me throughout the rest of my life and especially when it came to making life-changing decisions like whether I should serve a mission or not. I am so grateful that we have a loving Heavenly Father who is there to help us whenever we need him. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel and the Book of Mormon can help the whole world get closer to Jesus Christ. I love the Lord, I love my family and am grateful we can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I like to think I live my faith everyday. Currently I am serving as a full-time missionary for the Church. Before my mission I tried really hard to do the things I had been taught in church and never really strayed from the church because I have seen so many blessings by following the commandments of God. I have served in many different assignments in the church and I really love working with the youth the most. They are so much fun and although sometimes quiet they taught me what it meant to stand in holy places even if the world was telling them it wasn't cool.
