Hi I'm David

I'm a family lover. I love the thought that I can be with my family forever. I love my Savior and want to follow Him.

About Me

I was born in California and raised in Colorado, and I love just about anything that happens out doors like hiking, running, camping, and sports. My friends and family are very important to me. I would do just about anything for them. I could spend hours and hours with them, the activity wouldn´t matter. I just care about the time I get to spend with them. I love all sorts of sports, it really depends on who I'm with as to what sport or game I like the best. I attended BYUi for two years. I'm currently serving a mission. I was serving in the Manila, Philippines mission but am now in the newly made Cavite, Philippines mission. I love my mission and the people! This really is a Lords work and I'm very grateful to be a part of it. It's awesome to see the gospel bless the lives of others and their families in a way that nothing else can. I haven't always been "converted" to this gospel. I had been pushed along by the testimonies of others, especially my parents'. However, the time came when that wasn't enough for me. I had to know the truth for myself. I'll admit that this wasn't all that long ago. It was pretty recent, but I believe that the Book of Mormon is from God. From reading the Bible and other books, I also have a testimony that Jesus Christ was a real Man that lived and atoned for the sins of the world. I know He lives.

Why I am a Mormon

Their are two main reasons why I'm Mormon: Because I know that Jesus Christ himself is leading this church today and because I know that I can find happiness in this gospel. My long term goal is to have a big, unified, eternal family and give them the happiest life I can. My number one priority in this life will be to make them happy. I know that the only way to find true happiness as a family is through obedience to gospel principles. That's why Christ' church and gospel are so important to me. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Well, what greater way to live my faith than by serving the Lord as a missionary? Temptations hit you pretty hard while attempting to live your faith; the temptations ever disappear, but as faith grows, so does the strengths and desire to overcome such temptations. I live my faith by studying Christ' teachings, His life, His atonement, and what He has done for us in our day. I try to handle trials the way that He did in order to develop Christ like attributes.
