Hi I'm Alexx Davila

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I attended BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Alexandra. I am in college. I love music; singing, guitar, and piano. I am a cancer survivor. More important than anything else I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because I am forced to be, but because I choose to be with a heart full of excitement and gratitude! I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have always gone to church. From a very young age I recognized the Spirit and the comforting feeling it gave me. I always felt welcomed and loved. I did fall away for a short time, but I never doubted that the church was the true and the restored Gospel again on the earth. There is no denying the truth when you have felt the Spirit testify to you. For this reason I have found so much joy in the Gospel and all of it's true teachings. I have a testimony of the restored Gospel. I have received a witness of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and I know that the words contained were inspired and meant for us in our day. I know that a boy, Joseph Smith, at the age of 14, saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I know that this is the one and only fully restored Gospel on the earth today. I know that Heavenly Father knows each of us individually regardless of our race or religion. He loves us and wants us to come to Him for all of our desires, needs, and questions. We are His children. I know that we have a Savior who died for us so that we may repent and live with God again. Our Savior is coming again & I want to stand before him happy, and tell Him that I testified of Him to all those who I had the chance to tell. I know this Gospel will bring all people happiness and endless blessings. These things I tell you in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I help organize sacrament meeting at the care center I work at. Residents of all faiths come and enjoy the Spirit. I have held many callings and I have really enjoyed teaching Gospel Doctrine. Visiting teaching is a blessing to myself and others that we visit with and find their needs and share their joys. I have chosen to serve a mission so that I can spread the good Word of God to all those seeking for the truth and the light.
