Hi I'm Kaylee

I grew up in Utah. I am attending UVU. I am preparing to serve an LDS Mission in Argentina.I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Utah Valley University studying community Health. I like to run, read, paint, and play card games. I also play the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel and my heavenly father. Growing up I was taught by my parents about the gospel. It wasn't until I moved out and was on my own I began to gain a stronger testimony. Being a Mormon brings happiness into my life. When I willingly choose to disobey gods commandments I see how unhappy I become. I have learned to put his teaching to the test and with time I am able to gain a better understanding of Heavenly father truths. I know that my heavenly father only wants what is best for me. By small and little things we can come to know him. Another thing I know to be true is the book of Mormon. That can bring so much strength and joy into my life. When I was younger I had a hard time with reading the Book of Mormon. The first time I read this book I was only reading because everyone around me was reading it. However once I had the desire to know if this book was true I really gained a testimony of this amazing book. I love the Book of Mormon. I also believe in prayer. I know it works because each time I have prayed for something my loving heavenly father has blessed me with what I am asking for. I love the feeling of knowing that I have someone who can listen to me and know the blessing I need in my life. Sometimes I may not know what blessing I may need. Prayer truly works you just need to be willing to give it a shot. I will continue to follow heavenly father teaching because I know that if I do he can and will make me the happiest I can be. Every father wants what is best for his children. I have learned that he loves me. I have also seen what it is like when I chose to disobey because the feelings I get are not joy, but of sorrow. No one is perfect but having repentance is an amazing thing. I love this gospel and believe it with all my heart and that is why I am Mormon.
