Hi I'm Scot Goldie

I grew up in Georgia, I play soccer, and I love to build things. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a Mormon Missionary, if you live in Britain I may have even knocked your door. I love playing football (soccer), and I love building things with my hands. I'm very much a hands on person. I've been raised to do things myself instead of waiting for someone to come do it for me. I know how to work hard and play hard.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with mormon parents therefore I became a mormon at age 8. But in our church it is generally said that even if you are born into it you still need to have your own testimony and not just go off your parents. Because if you don't then you will never stay in the church. And when you learn that this is all true, it will greatly bless and impact you're life for the better. I know its true and it has greatly helped me and my family. One major way was through when my dad died. I know some people don't believe in an after life but the knowledge that i have about the plan of salvation has given me so much comfort that could never be compared to anything else that could give me comfort. I know that my dad is watching over me, and i know this because i am mormon.

How I live my faith

As a youth I was leader of the youth through all my ages as I grew up. In Provo I was a gospel doctrine teacher and so I would teach the lesson at church on sundays. I am a home teacher, and I always try to do service for my community. My eagle scout project was for a nation park and i build little boxes to attach to the stands that are throughout the park.
