Hi I'm Sarah Jackson

I'm the last from a family of all girls, I study sociology, love to read, am serving a mission in France, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint's. I was previously a student at the University, I studied journalism and sociology. I love to read, books of all kinds, I play the piano, and served as a relief society teacher in my home ward.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this is the one true religion that we can gain eternal salvation through. I believe that Joseph Smith was truly called to restore this perfect church, and that it is the only way to gain pure joy, and to find the way to return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and true, and that it can guide us. I believe in the prophets and apostles that are called, that they hold the keys to direct this church. And I believe the God loves each and everyone of us with a perfect love.

How I live my faith

I love my faith by serving the Lord, and trying to devote myself to him each day. And everyday trying to be the best I can be. I am not perfect, but as long as I am giving my best I believe the Lord is happy with what I can give. I live my faith by faithfully attending church meetings, and worthily fulfilling my calling, which was an instructer in the relief society. Trying my best to read my scriptures and pray often every day. I love serving as a missionary. Although it can be hard at times, it teaches you to truly rely on the Lord to guide and help you through each day.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Sarah Jackson
I think a large part of the growth of the Church is not only because of Missionary work, but because of service. The little deeds that every member can do is what furthers this church, and makes it the force of good that it truly is. Show more Show less

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Sarah Jackson
The restoration of the Gospel was needed because the proper priesthood authority was lost after the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ were killed. They had the proper tools, but with them gone the priesthood disappeared from the earth. Finally when the world was ready to once again recieve the fullness of his gospel the Lord and his son Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith, and instructed him to restore the true church. And through the hands of prophets of old the priesthood keys were given to Joseph Smith, so that they could once again return to this earth and bless each of us. Show more Show less
