Hi I'm Claire

I'm a sister, BYU student, San Franciscan, daredevil, and full-time missionary. I love life and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Colorado, adopted by my parents in Illinois, and raised in the Bay Area of California. I've got rambunctious twin brothers and an extremely patient sister. I'm a student at Brigham Young University but because of the missionary age change, I was able to put school on hold and put on a name tag. I'm serving in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission and loving every minute of it! I love making strangers smile, adventuring in the outdoors, and adding items to my bucket list. I enjoy doing anything that allows me to see new places and meet new people. I live by the phrase "Adventure is out there!"

Why I am a Mormon

Heeding the counsel of prophets, both ancient and modern, provides the peace, direction, and purpose I need in my life. I understand where I came from, why I am here, and where I can go. I have a road map that shows how I can return to live with God and my family again. I'm a Mormon because it helps me understand that Jesus Christ will provide an unfailing light in my life!

How I live my faith

I was lucky enough to be given the tools to figure out how to live my faith early on in life. But it wasn't until I decided that the Gospel of Jesus Christ needed to be a lifestyle choice, not a past-time, that my faith began to grow. I've been blessed with opportunities to serve in leadership positions, both in my community and the church. I've learned much from the classmates, homeless, elderly, mentally disabled, and veterans I have met and served. I've discovered that when we are truly converted we forget about ourselves and find joy in helping others.
