Hi I'm Tallmadge

I am from of Grand Rapids, MI. I have been a Mormon my whole life. I know it, I love it, and I live it!

About Me

I like sports. Mostly basketball, football and baseball. I love to eat. I love to listen to music, mostly Hip Hop or alternative rock. I love my family. I have 2 sisters and 4 brothers. I'm studying civil engineering at Brigham Young University. I served a church mission in Costa Rica for 2 years. I work in a call center speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life. I really gained my testimony when I was about 16. I am happy as a member of the church and because I live the Gospel that Jesus Christ taught when He lived here on the earth. It's kind of like in Alma 36:20-21. He talks about his pains before he was converted and then what exceeding joy he felt after he was converted. I have felt exceeding joy and I know that everyone can when they learn of the love Christ has for us and learn to live the Gospel more fully in their lives. That is why I served a mission. I want to let every person know our message about Christ and help them improve their lives and find the happiness that I have found by living the Gospel!

How I live my faith

Before, I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Costa Rica. But I have been a leader during my time as a youth. Also as a youth, I went to early morning seminary daily and would study the scriptures before going to school. Now I go and participate in church meetings every Sunday and teach classes. As a family we also visit families around us to strengthen them and serve them. I study the scriptures daily and do my best to live the Gospel.

What is being a Mormon like?

I would have to say being happy. I have learned so much about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I have noticed that the better I live it, the happier I am! Show more Show less
