Hi I'm Katelyn

I grew up in a military family. I make photographs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student, but will be taking a break from school to serve a LDS mission in the West Indies come this January. I grew up in a military home, but have lived around D.C. most of my life. Photography is a way for me to capture the small amount of time we have to spend with each other. I believe in families, being kind to others and enjoying the little things.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up with a knowledge that my Heavenly Father loves me and that I can turn to him no matter what. Without his love, I would not be able to have had the opportunity to know of Christ's atonement and have the opportunity to live with him one day. I am so grateful for this gospel and this church. I love the fact that we have a living modern day prophet to guide us in this generation and give me strength to endure through the trials in my life. I believe that the Lord puts people in our lives to help us along our journey and that those relationships are crucial to our eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by accepting and serving in the callings that are given to me. I believe that we are put here on this earth at certain times to meet certain people and by serving in our callings we are blessing those around us.
