Hi I'm Jonathon

I love playing soccer and Ultimate Frisbee. I am currently a missionary in Michigan Lansing Michigan. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have played sports since I was very young, I especially love to play soccer and frisbee. I have been attending college and so far have loved the chance to learn. I love working and spending time with friends. I enjoy using and having projects to work on the computer whether it is a complicated project or a simple one I will learn how to do it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that by living the Gospel that Jesus Christ has brought back to the earth through his prophet Joseph Smith will bring my life as well as my families life peace, love, joy, and freedom. I know that through this gospel I am a happier person. I was born into this church, so I have felt the spirit since I can remember, however for much of my younger years I didn't really understand the gospel, my testimony was mostly relying upon my parents testimony. That changed however when I was sick and couldn't go to church and before leaving my mother gave me Book of Mormon cassettes to listen to. I listened to them and continued to do so. At the time I didn't entirely realize but I felt the spirit strongly, and it gave me the desire to feel it more and more and so as I got older I would listen to Conference talks and other church material. There are times in my life that I wonder if this is the true church, there are times when I think that it would be easier to not be part of the church. However, I do know this. I have felt the spirit, and I cannot deny that. That is what makes it so I cannot deny, this church is true. And through this church I have found peace, safety, joy, and friendship. Of course, there will be challenges, trials and at times misery. I have felt the effects of the atonement both of repentance and to lift me up to greater heights. My testimony has grown a lot in these short years, I could never deny the influence and the power that i have felt through the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I love to visit members of my ward at their homes, to have that friendship and connection with them is a cherished blessing. Through this I have the opportunity to share messages that will bless them as individuals and their family as well. Through my church service I have the opportunity to both strengthen and be strengthened by the influence, example, and love of others.
