Hi I'm Hannah

I love running. Music is my life. I'm serving a mission in North Carolina, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be active in all areas of my life: church, school, work, and in my personal hobbies. Running is one of my favorite hobbies. I also love meeting new people and spending time with family and friends. Music is also a great love of mine and I don't know what I would do without it. I'm a college student, but right now I'm taking time off from school to serve a full-time mission in North Carolina, and I couldn't be more excited and anxious to serve! I love the outdoors and I'm blessed to live in beautiful Utah. I like to think that I'm an optimist and I try my best to be as happy as I possibly can as often as I can. Living the doctrines and principles of the the gospel of Jesus Christ are what bring me the most happiness and joy in life and I wouldn't be who I am if I didn't do so!

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have come to know that it is the true church. I obtained a testimony of that as I read the account by Joseph Smith of the vision he had of God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, in the Sacred Grove. The Spirit bore a powerful witness to me that Joseph Smith did indeed have a vision, and that he was truly called of God to restore the Church upon the earth. I know that our Heavenly Father lives and loves us because He brought the gospel back to the earth. Through the gospel of Christ, we can return to live with God again, we can be made clean of our sins, and we can find true happiness in this life. The gospel gives me so much to hope for! I have received a testimony of the Book of Mormon by reading it daily, studying it, searching for answers, and praying about the doctrines contained within it. I know that it is true. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ fills me with a peace that cannot be found in worldly desires or endeavors, and I know that peace to be the Holy Ghost testifying to me that this is Christ's true church. I continue to follow the gospel of Christ because it brings me joy, teaches me of my purpose in this life, and gives me hope that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day of my life by reading my scriptures, praying to my Father in Heaven, keeping the commandments, keeping my covenants, and being a disciple of Christ in all that I do. I try to be the kind of person who will draw others closer to Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, and who will allow them to really feel and know just how much they are loved by Them. I do this by striving to serve and love every one I come in contact with. I have set high standards for myself that I strive to live up to and I reflect often on how I can change and better myself. I repent often and I know how powerful and cleansing true repentance is. I live my faith by doing all that our Heavenly Father asks of me.
