Hi I'm Colton

I grew up in Montana. I just graduated high school and attend Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two brothers and two sisters. I love them so much and enjoy playing games with all of them. I was born in Utah then lived in Illinois for several years until my family and I moved to Montana where I have lived the majority of my life. I love Montana and all there is to do here. I love to ride bikes with my brothers and go hiking and camping. I love sports even though I am not the best at them. I wrestled, ran track and cross country and also played tennis. I like to hang out with my friends on weekends even if we do not have anything fun to do. I recently graduated high school and have been accepted to Brigham Young University and already have attended two semesters. My older sister is away in college and my older brother is away on a two year LDS mission and I miss them both a lot. My plan for the next two years is to serve a two year LDS mission like my brother and then go back to BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. God sent His son Jesus Christ to atone for the sins of the world that we may again return to Him. He loves us and wants very much for us to return to Him and will help us achieve that goal. Through our Father's plan, we can return to Him and have everlasting life. By being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my life has meaning and a purpose. If it were not for this, I would not know my purpose and would not have the joy it brings me.

How I live my faith

One thing I do to live my faith is by always attending church and serving in my church as a Sunday school teacher. I prepare lessons to teach my class every other week and love the opportunity to do so. I also try to always help others by doing service to those who need it such as mowing lawns for the elderly or volunteering at the food bank. In addition to these things, i try to live my faith by always striving to be my best so that the Lord would be proud of me.
