Hi I'm Kyle Forsgren

I was born in Philadelphia, raised in Bountiful, UT and live in TX. I have three beautiful girls and an amazing wife.

About Me

I am a proud father of three beautiful girls and have a beautiful wife that I love dearly. I work as an executive for a title company here in Texas and am very grateful for all the wonderful blessings I enjoy as a member of the church. I enjoy sports such as basketball and football and golf and even enjoy watching soccer and lacrosse. My family and I enjoy music and we take time to enjoy music together around the piano or signing along with the radio. I look forward to traveling with my family and creating memories together across seas or on the beach. I like technology and using it to make things easier for me to communicate and to keep me engaged during slower times. I graduated from the University of Utah and then went on to get my MBA from Brigham Young University. I always encourage education and try to tout the benefits of learning and applying it practically. I would say I believe in personal reliance and doing the absolute best you can to succeed and care for the family. I think if you work hard you can achieve your goals and climb to new heights. The more I succeed the more freedom I have to enjoy the benefits with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Lord has again restored his gospel here on this earth through the first latter-day prophet, Joseph Smith. Joseph translated the Book of Mormon for us to use in these days and to apply the teaching of ancient prophets to our day today. Joseph Smith is a hero of mine as he did what he knew was right and did what the Lord asked of him. He was prepared by the Lord to restore his church in these days and had to pay the ultimate price and seal his testimony with his blood. It is strange to say I am a Mormon because I know who Mormon was as a prophet in the Book of Mormon. He, as a prophet, called of God in the Book of Mormon abridged the many plates written by other prophets into a cohesive book that, through revelation, would apply to us in these latter days. I love Mormon and his son Moroni and encourage others to read about why we are called Mormons. I love the gospel of our Heavenly Father and rejoice in its plainness. The Savior came to this earth and taught us how to live and how to be, and died for us so that we can repent, then he resurrected so we can also resurrect and live with our Heavenly Father again. That is my goal, that is why I live the way I do and why I stay strong in the church. I have a family that I love more than anything and I have no doubt that being raised in the church will be one of the best gifts and blessings I can provide to my family. I have big responsibilities to ensure my kids are able to enjoy the multitude of blessings they can receive from the Lord and by following his commandments. I know the blessings I receive from my Heavenly Father are innumerable and for that I am eternally grateful and will always pray to and follow his teachings to receive the greatest gift from our Heavenly Father, which is immortality and eternal life with our Heavenly Father. I know Christ lives and that he knows and loves each of us. He gave his life for us and wants for us to choose the right.

How I live my faith

I am very happy and grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up in the church and come from a long line of members as well. My great-great Grandfather was one of the first members in the country he was born in, and they came to America to join with the saints in Salt Lake City, UT. They grew into new parts of Utah, and their ancestors have been active in the church. I have been responsible for many things inside the church and am happy to give of my God-given talents to help the church grow and flourish on the earth today. I enjoy teaching the gospel to others and have had many opportunities to do that in my adult life in the church. I served a two year LDS mission in Vina del Mar, Chile and my life was changed by my many experiences there. I love the people of Chile and will always remember the relationships I developed there, but mostly the relationship I developed with my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I learned to love the Book of Mormon more than I had ever before and I still read it once a year, every year even now. I work with the young men in the area where I live. I work with them to help them achieve their scouting goals to get to be an Eagle Scout, and how to become better young men as they get older. These are very important times for the young men as they learn what it takes to work hard, how to celebrate other's success, how to become self-reliant, and how to love their Lord and Heavenly Father. I hope to help them be the best they can be. I know that one day one of the young men in the church will take one of my beautiful daughters to the Temple and marry for time and eternity. They will become an eternal family and I hope they will all be able to return to live with their Heavenly Father.
