Hi I'm Hunter John Anderson

I love to hike, wrestle, and hang out with my family and friends. I love eating, am a Lord of the Rings enthusiast, and I'm Mormon

About Me

I was born in Texas but raised in Utah. I like castles, mountains, and the Chinese language. There are very few things that I don't like to do, I feel like if you're with the right people any time is a good time, but if I had to choose, I would be on the mountainside, next to a fire, talking about everything and nothing. People mean a lot to me. I also Love the Lord of the Rings, yup that's me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because it is God's institution. It is the only institution on earth with His direct authority. I am a member of this church because I know that its teachings are the true teachings of Christ, and that by living those teachings we can live with God again. I am a member of this church because I know that families can be together forever when sealed in the holy temple. I am a member of this church because of the revelation that Heavenly Father continues to offer us through His servant the prophet. I am a member of this church because it teaches the love of Christ and the power of redemption through His sacrifice. I am serving a mission on behalf of His church so that I can share that love with other people.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively participating in my ward. I love helping administer the ordinances of the priesthood and seeing the changes they bring into the lives of the ward members. I love to show my faith in Christ by living the commandments He has given and being an example to those around me. I help organize missionary meetings with those people who would like to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am currently serving a mission for the church in Taiwan, Taipei.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Hunter John Anderson
We believe families are important because they show us what our true relationship with God is. He is truely our Father in Heaven. He has given us earthly families because it gives us the opportunity to know just how much He loves us. Families also provide us with the amazing opportunity to grow up in an enviroment of love and care, where we can study the words of God. This love that we experience in families is an essensial part of growing up and having happiness. Show more Show less
