Hi I'm Annie

I'm a sweet, fun loving, hair styling, sports loving, country girl, sister, wife and mom to be and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to love people and anyone that knows me is my friend! I love to do hair and help others to feel good about themselves. Making others happy is my favorite. I love to be active and constantly keeping busy. I love sports both watching and playing. I play tennis and thanks to my dad and brother have become quite the football junkie! I am the second oldest of four kids with an older sister a younger sister and a baby brother who is currently serving a full-time mission in Colorado Springs. After going to hair school I completed my education and graduated with a degree in psychology. I was able to marry my best friend last summer and I'm expecting a baby boy in the spring. I love to be in the mountains and go fishing and camping and playing music. My favorite times are those spent with my friends and family just having fun and being silly and being in nature. I love my family very much and they are the most important thing in the world to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in the church. From a very young age I was taught about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the importance of it in my life. However, there was a period in my life where I was unsure about the church and made decisions that weren't the best. Throughout much prayer and by reading the book of Mormon, I felt so much love and peace and understood for myself that this was the true church and that it was the foundation of who I am.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving and loving others. One of the great blessings of the gospel is unconditional love and service to others. I try to live by the Savior's example and love others regardless of where they've been or what they've done. The church has also given me many opportunities to serve others in various callings and through service projects.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Annie
One of the most wonderful parts of the Gospel to me is the promise that through obedience and righteous living a family can be together forever even when temporarily separated by death. This is especially important to me because when I was 18 years old my mother died suddenly. This was especially hard on me because my mom and I were so incredibly close. I think that had I not had the knowledge that I would someday be able to see her again, then those dark and sad nights I spent following her death would have become so much harder to handle. It allowed me hope and a peace and comfort that is undescribable. This also brings be great comfort because I love my family so much. They are the most important thing in the world to me and the thought of never seeing them again once they leave this earth is one that seems unbearable to me. What a great and wonderful promise! To be with the ones you love FOREVER! Show more Show less
