Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Winnipeg Manitoba, and am serving my mission in Florida Fort Lauderdale.

About Me

I am a son and brother and have been blessed to go on a mission to serve my Lord and Savior for two years. Before I came out I was learning violin and piano and keeping busy with church and family and work. I have two younger brothers, both are probably the best people in the world, they remind me to be humble and to listen to people, and to show love. I also have two older sisters, they are smart, sometimes I wonder if they are plotting to take over the world with love and kindness, concern is lessoned by knowing that they would definitely include me in such a plot however. I love them both and have been blessed with their help every time that I need it. My Mum and Dad are great They showed me what I can become and who I want to be. I hope that someday I will have a family and marriage like they do and be able to become what they showed me with patience and responsibility. Being a missionary is a completely unexpected experience. I had no idea how challenging or rewarding it would be but have been blessed to know however big or small the task and however big or small my ability my best is all that God requires of me. I love teaching the people of Florida about God, learning from the scriptures, making bad jokes and feeling the connection I have with God grow deeper every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read and studied the Book of Mormon. I know that it is the word of God. I have felt it change my life in a way that impacts me every day. I know that God lives. I know that my Savior gave up more then anyone else for me. He helped me growing up and helps me everyday whenever I feel sad or down or like things are getting a little to difficult. He shows me how to be happy, and how to be happier every day as my life changes little by little. I will always love him for what he did for me and does for me every day.

How I live my faith

I am on a mission, to serve my Heavenly Father. When we teach I know that there is nowhere that I would rather be. Being able to share a simple testimony and feel the spirit witness of the truth of it is a humbling experience, it is incredible to know that I shared something worth giving. I love being on a mission and talking to the people who I am here to teach. The people around me, who have given up two years always help me to do my best, and the people who listen gives me the reason to be out here.
