Hi I'm Robert Meyer

I was born and raised in Alaska. I'm an Eagle Scout. I graduated in 2012. I am a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Alaska and have lived here most of my life. I play the bass clarinet, and have been in band over 7 years. I love my family, and try my best to tell them frequently. I grew up in a home with strong moral values, both in the LDS church and in Boy Scouts. I have had several hobbies and interests, including: reading, biking, coin collecting, camping, serving others, hiking, target shooting, and archery.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS home, but even then I still had my own choice. When I read the scriptures, pray, and go to church, I can feel my Savior's love for me. I've faced several challenges, some smaller than others. But through the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and the teachings of latter-day prophets, He has been there to help me through it as I do the things that I know are right. I know that God is our Father in Heaven. I know that Christ came down to this Earth to save us from our sins. I know that He loves each of us individually. And I have chosen to live so that I can live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I alway try to do what I believe is right. I think that the best way to lead someone is by example. Just as Jesus Christ set the perfect example for us. I know that as I make right choices I become a more happy person. I want to be able to share that with every one that I come into contact with. I love to smile and to laugh. I've found that helping others, and making them happy, is the best way to cheer myself up as well. I am currently serving as a missionary near Houston, Texas.
