Hi I'm Marcus

Hello, I am a young soon to be missionary. I am preparing to serve faithfully in the Taiwan, Taichung mission.

About Me

I am a current football(soccer) fan. I love the sport to death, but I have currently set my mind on the task of becoming a faithful missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been called to the Taiwan, Taichung mission speaking Mandarin Chinese. I am very excited, and I can't wait to bring others to the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this Church and I have found that I feel more at home than anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I Live my faith by keeping the commandments and by faithfully going to Church and partaking of the sacrament so that I can be made clean each week. I diligently seek out the Lords advice on many matters in my life and I find that any can ask the Lord for anything.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

We all love Jesus Christ, and we wish to follow in his footsteps. Jesus Christ was the perfect example in all things. Later in his life he was baptized by proper authority to show us that we need to be baptized so that we may be made clean so that we may be able to return to live with our Father in Heaven again. Our ultimate goal in life is to return back to live with Heavenly Father again. Through baptism we are made clean and innocent again, and all our previous misdeeds are washed away. Leaving us totally clean and pure. We need to strive every day to keep the commandments so that we may stay clean in the eyes of God. If we do make a mistake, Jesus Christ has provided us with the Atonement so that we can renew our covenants we made at baptism. Weekly in church we partake of the sacrament which is symbolic of the Atonement thus renewing our covenants making us clean again in the eyes of God. Show more Show less
