Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a microbiology student and a music lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a convert to the church. I was baptized on October 27, 2012. I'm currently studying general biology at the community college by me, but I am planning on moving on to my four year school and getting my masters in molecular biology. I hope to one day be a lab researcher. I love to sing, and will have my minor in music soon. I could sit down and do music theory for hours! Lately, I have been loving pushing myself out of my comfort zone, singing in front of people, to build confidence in myself. It's amazing how well it is working. I love my dog, and she loves to be my walking partner. My nephew is my best little bud I could ever ask for!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was first presented with the idea of being Mormon, I never pictured myself actually becoming one, but now that I look back, I can't imagine not being one today. I am Mormon because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and Heavenly Father. I know that this Church is true and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that one day I will live again with Him. Everyday, I strive to live to the best of my ability to live the doctrines given to us, and at the end of the day, I know, I've done my best.

How I live my faith

The most important way I live my faith is by living the doctrine of Christ each and every day. As we follow in the footsteps of Christ, we begin to develop more Christlike attributes and come closer to Heavenly Father. As a ward missionary, I participate a lot in team ups with my ward's full time missionaries, and try to serve others in the church as much as I possibly can when I am needed. I love to spread the Gospel and hope to in the future serve on my own mission.
