Hi I'm Jacob

I've lived in Utah most my life. Three years were spent in Nauvoo, Illinois. I'm a Mormon and I love it.

About Me

I love being outdoors and being active. I'm hardworking, honest, have faith in the Lord, fun, and love sports! Have an older sister and two younger siblings, a brother and sister. I'll be serving the Lord in Mendoza, Argentina for two years starting March 27, 2013!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because i choose to be. I was raised into a family that was strong in the church and my parents did a good job teaching me about the church, our Savior, and the Gospel. I choose to stay strong in the church because of the things I've learned in Seminary and throughout Church classes. My testimony is this: I know that Jesus Christ came to this Earth to atone for all of our sins. He was chosen by our Heavenly Father to come and make it possible for us to return and live with Him. They both love us very much. I know that Joseph Smith was chosen by God to restore this Church and His priesthood to this Earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and through reading it and believing it our testimonies will grow. I have a testimony of prayer and the power and spirit that comes from communicating with our Father. I know that He listens and answers prayers if we ask in faith, with a contrite heart, and with real intent. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the Prophet today and he receives revelation through thought and prayer from Heavenly Father. I know that we were sent here to be tested and it's not easy. I know and love the sacrifice Jesus made for us so that we could repent and get rid of our sins. This brings me great joy and comfort. I know these things to be true and share them with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm currently helping out with the youth in my ward. Helping them complete goals and awards set for them.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Jacob
We can come to know our Heavenly Father through prayer. If we ask with pure intent and faith that we'll receive an answer, He will bestow one upon you. Show more Show less
