Hi I'm Kylee Maughan

I was born & raised in Beavercreek, OR. Life is good. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family members are my best friends. When I am with them I feel I am closest to Heaven! I've got 3 brothers. They are my rocks and my folks of course! We spend most our time playing basketball or hide and seek. We are best found outside at a river cliff diving or up on the mountain or hanging at the beach. I love anything outside with friends, family and laughing. I'm real good at laughing... I play the violin, and teach swimming lessons. I have lived in Oregon my whole life. I moved to Utah to attend Weber State University. I want to start my own shop making and welding hand crafted jewelry. So maybe a business degree? Who knows.. I am currently serving a Full Time missionary in the Sacramento California Mission and that's all that matters right now! I am so happy to be me! Taking every moment full of joy!

Why I am a Mormon

Cause is makes me happy..plain and simple. Alma 41:5

How I live my faith

I went to a Catholic High school. This school provided me with a a good eduaction to prepare me for college. However, I was the only mormon in the school. It was a time where if I wanted to do or say something against what I have been taught no one would know. no jugdement. When temptation came, I contemplated my actions.. Even though no one knew who I was. But I chose to follow His path. Later in school I found that Everyone knew I was a mormon. Somehow they just figured it out it guess. I didn't bring a ton of people to church with me or anything..in fact i didn't bring anyone from school to church. Thinking back I was relieved to not be ashamed of any actions to disgrace Jesus Christ or my family. Missionary work starts with planting seed. I hope that's what I did. I quickly had a reputation of being the "mormon girl." It never really bothered me, I just laughed it off and went on as usual living my faith. We have control over our action. Whether we want to be offended or not by what others think and do. This is a Gospel of Happiness! So be Happy! cause being mormon is legit!
