Hi I'm Cam

I'm from Orem Utah, I'm a skateboarder, I love extreme sports and music, I love life... I'm a mormon!

About Me

I love sports! Especially the extremes like snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, etc. I have a family of 7 and I'm right in the middle with 2 older brothers and 2 younger sisters. My parents divorced when I was in 7th grade. I love my family--shout out to the Byingtons! (that includes you Kinz). A quote by Gordon B. Hinckley says, "life is to be enjoyed, not endured." If you know me I love to laugh, laughter keeps me alive. I love people. There are people in my life who have had an incredible impact on me, to those individuals I say thank you. You have changed me for the better. You help me remember what's important and your love has taken me farther than anyone could ever comprehend. You know who you are, thank you. I enjoy the small and simple things in life like longboarding provo canyon while listening to a favorite song, looking at the stars from the top of a house boat in lake powell, summer nights, life talks, and quality time with people I love. I have goals and ambitions that I believe I can achieve. Christ taught, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." I can do hard things. I'm a finisher. All in all, I love life. Life is amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised in the church by parents who care about me. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints you will find the authority to act in the name of God, otherwise known as the Priesthood. Here you have access to complete every saving ordinance such as baptism and partaking of the bread and water each Sunday. I love this church because we don't force anything on anyone. We strongly believe that a person needs to find out for themselves what the truth really is. By praying sincerely to God, you can know that the truth really is found here through the power of the holy ghost.

How I live my faith

I simply try to love everyone. Not by any means have I mastered the first and greatest commandment, but I do strive to build special relationships with everyone I meet. Did Christ not at times just spend a little quality time with his disciples? Did he not sit a little child on his lap and play with them? Did he not at one time or another stop to help pick up a few loaves of bread that had fallen out of a basket carried by a local villager? I have learned in my life that someone like me--a young immature 20 year old kid--can't help people with their life problems. I don't know how to help someone going through a divorce, or someone who recently lost a loved one, or even someone who is depressed, but I can love them. Love never fails.
