Hi I'm Carol

I grew up in St. Louis, MO. I became a member of the Church in CA in 1971 and changed my life forever!

About Me

I was married in Heidelberg, Germany to a soldier for 20 years and traveled most of Europe. We had 2 sons, one who died in infancy. I was a floral designer and then a secretary. After my divorce, I became a nurse!

Why I am a Mormon

I was kind of a rebellious teen and didn't realize how many of the youth in my high school choir were LDS. They all seemed to be living a happy life and I was not content with my own. I investigated many different churches over the years but because my mother had taken me to church as a child, I did have a desire to know God. When I turned 19 an old choir buddy knocked on my door and asked if I would like to know more about "his" church. I invited them in and after about six lessons and reading the Book of Mormon, my heart KNEW that this is what I needed. I was baptized and a wonderful family in my congregation took me in and have become my "Mormon parents". My mother was pleased with the changes in my life after I joined and since that time the Lord has blessed me with the faith to build my testimony and I have received so many answers to pray and personal revelations. I know through these personal experiences that God lives and that Jesus Christ is my brother and Savior to all the world. My husband and I will be leaving on a mission for the Church in April of 2013 and are thrilled to serve the Lord!

How I live my faith

After college and marriage, I trained to do rape counseling, worked with kids 2 to 18 in the church and learned so much. Enjoy serving others, both in my church community and my neighborhood. Since my retirement I love working in the Temple as a volunteer and my husband and I have gotten involved in Master Gardening, HAM radio, target shooting, and a large camping group in AZ.
