Hi I'm Stephanie Burt

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I am a Sr. at USU, studying Human Movement Science. I run XC and Track at USU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Stephanie. I Am a senior attending Utah State University, studying Human Movement Science, and emphasizing in Exercise Science. I love to run. Whether its racing or out for a jog i love running. I run on the Track and Cross Country team at USU and love it! Recently I've been called on a mission to Little Rock Arkansas and can't wait! A few of my team mates will be in the MTC the same time as me so it'll be a blast! I am the 7th child of 9 and the youngest girl. I have 4 brothers (2 older, 2 younger) and 4 sisters (all older). I don't know how my parents have done it... or how they're doing it. They have taught us so much and work so hard. I aspire to be like them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I know this Gospel is true. I know this simply through prayer and have felt the saviors love for me. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that everyone is a son or a daughter of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, who translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. I know that Jesus Christ is the Father of this earth and our savior, who atoned for our sins. I know that through Him we can repent for our sins and return to our Heavenly Father, and be eternally happy. Eternal happiness is what I think we as people all strive for, and only through repentance and making certain covenants in the temple with the Lord is this possible. I have found this out for myself through repentance, prayer, and study. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and everyone. I also know that anyone can find this out for themselves. I strive to live and follow His Gospel, because I feel a peace with in me and joy in knowing that what I am doing is right, and it will all be worth it in the end.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church each Sunday and institute two times a week at school. I've had different callings throughout the years, my favorite being the "ward greeter." Not a hard calling or anything but fun, because I had the opportunity of welcoming everyone into sacrament meeting, saying "hi" and handing out the meeting schedule. I met a lot of people this way, and had a lot of fun! This along with previous callings and trying to keep the Lord's commandments is how I live my faith.
