Hi I'm John Carden

I swam in high school. I love longboarding. I am on a two-year mission in Sinaloa Mexico. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a fresh college student, with one lack-luster year under my belt. I swam in high school, and still love to jump in the water whenever I get the chance. I want to get my undergraduate degree in International Relations for the time being, and plan on continuing on to medical school to become an anesthesiologist. I am on a two-year mission in the state of Sinaloa in Mexico. I am so excited to be teaching others about the wonderful gospel that has been such a blessing in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the teaching of this church are true. They have brought such peace and clarity into my life and I know I would not be nearly as good a person without its influence in my life. I know that Joseph Smith saw God and that he translated the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ, who I know to be my savior and Messiah.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. Almost all of my high school friends are not LDS, so I get plenty of opportunities to share about my faith. I also go and visit a few people in my church every month, mostly those who are less active, to try and show them that somebody does care and wants them back in the happiness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
