Hi I'm Traci

I am a mother of 4. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a blessed wife and a mother of 4 beautiful children ranging in ages between 21 and 9 years old. I grew up a member of the church in California. After receiving a degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University our family moved to Alamaba and we have called this home eversince. I am currenlty the Director of a preschool and child development center.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with a mother who is very strong in the gospel and continues to be a great example to me. When my brother and I were young, she would digently take us to our church meetings and serve in church assignments. My father did finally join the church. It is such a blessing in all our lives. My family lived in an area where there were not many Mormons. My standards were different than many of my classmates. At times it was tough not to do the things others chose to do such as drinking and smoking but I knew I had to stand tall and be an example. I surrounded myself with good friends and lived in a way I knew was pleasing to the Lord. I have never felt my religion has restricted me, but rather that it has given me the freedom to be happy. Many years later I have spoken with my past classmates and many have mentioned they admired my strength in standing up for the right and making good decisions.

How I live my faith

The gospel is very important in my life. Each day I strive to live the standards of the church, serve my fellow men, and grow closer to my Savior. My heart is with the youth of the church and I have spent many years teaching and serving the young women ages 12-18 years old. Their sweet spirits are a blessing in my life.
