Hi I'm Jake Stoker

I hail from Utah's Dixie! I am serving in the VA Chesapeake Mission where we do work all week and play ball hard on PDAY!

About Me

I am from St. George, Utah and am currently serving a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Virginia Chesapeake Mission. My second home is the News. I love anything outdoors and love basketball and golf! I love serving the Lord here in Virginia and love the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have known it is true since I was old enough to understand its teachings. Although I was born into the church I needed to find out its truthfulness on my own. I love my family so much and I know that I can be with them for all eternity through this gospel and Heavenly Father's plan for us. Jesus is the living Christ and I am forever grateful for His Atonement for each and every one of us. I know that no matter how bad we mess up, we can sincerely repent and be forgiven of our sins through Jesus Christ, and strive to follow Him more closely. This is the most truthful organization on the Earth and I know that if we follow the teachings and counsel given to us through the prophets and leaders directly from Heavenly Father, we will be able to endure to the end and live with God once again. If you have any questions or want to know for yourself if this faith truly is the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, read the Book of Mormon and pray about it. It is either true or it is not. It is as simple as that.

How I live my faith

I have set aside two years of college, career, and family to share the the message of the Restoration to the people of Virginia. I try everyday to become a better person through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I love this Gospel and know it is true.
