Hi I'm Aarim

I like to run. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Aarim, I really enjoy mountain biking, hiking, running, ultimate Frisbee, soccer, and basically any excuse to go outside. I ran Track and Cross Country in High School. I really enjoyed running and being on the team. I enjoy playing strategy games, and also love to read fantasy books. I can speak Mandarin Chinese, can read and write English, and I'm learning Spanish. I'm currently serving my mission in British Colombia, Canada, which is awesome because I get to talk to people that speak all three of those languages! I have been out on my mission for awhile now, and have learned a lot!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and have great parents who have always encouraged me to live my life with the gospel. There have been times when I have doubted the truthfulness, but I know now that this is the true church. The more I learn, and the more I see, the more my faith grows. Serving my mission has also really helped me because I have had the chance to see what life is like without the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I've been blessed and that the values I have from being Mormon have and will continue to be a strength to me in my life. I know that this is the true, restored church of Jesus Christ. I also know that all who truly wish to see if this is true can find out for themselves.

How I live my faith

One of the biggest things for me is to try to make it to church every week. I try to read the Book of Mormon every day as well as pray to my Heavenly Father. I live the word of wisdom, which means no tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea, or any illegal drugs. I know that doing so has helped me in my life, especially as a runner. I am now serving as a missionary for the church, and this has also been a way for me to live my faith. I know that others can be blessed and live happier lives if they have to chance to learn about this religion.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Well, the simplest answer is CPR. Church, Prayer, and Reading Scriptures. Just like physical CPR can save our bodies, spiritual CPR can heal our souls, and bring us closer to Christ. As we learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and strive to live his teachings and commandments, each and every one of us can have our faith in Jesus Christ strengthened. Show more Show less
