Hi I'm Alexa

I'm a Daughter, Sister, Actress and Dreamer. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi, I'm twenty one years old, single, and I love theater. I eat, drink and breath it. When I watch movies I'm constantly think of how I could adapt moments to the stage. Theater is what called to me, so I went college for two years studying Musical Theater (the best kind of Theater) ;) before taking a break to work and save up money. I also love to draw, though I've never taken a class. But I doodle on every piece of paper that crosses my path, much to the chagrin of my teachers and professors over the years. Stories are my passion. Anything, from movie to theater, to the news and literature is story. For this reason I'm also working on a fantasy novel. If I ever feel it's ready I may even send it to a publisher, but who knows. :) I love my family, even though I am the dreaded "middle child". Though I have many great friends, my family members are my best and eternal friends and I am blessed that they are with me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, or a Latter-Day Saint, as we are called, because I know it is the truth. There is no question about life, great or small that cannot be answered by His Gospel. There is not one aspect of The Gospel that does not improve your life or create happiness. Why am I Mormon? It's selfish, really. I want to be happy and I want the people I love to be happy and the only way to true happiness is through living the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I taught the 10-11 year old Sunday School class. There was an autistic boy taught me a lot about faith and feeling the love of my Heavenly Father. I pray everyday that I will be able to see all my brothers and sisters here on Earth the way He sees them. I am also serving as a missionary for my beloved Faith. I have been loving the Canadian/Quebecois people here in Montreal, and believe that God has really helped me in learning the French language. I could not be more thrilled for this opportunity to serve!

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

I am a feminist. I definitely believe in equal rights, no matter your race, sex or creed. The thing I love about the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that men and women have equal voices in a family. Primarily men are the bread winners and women nurture and care for the children, but both are involved in all aspects of the family. Women have careers, men change diapers. They are equal partners in building a family and creating a home. Show more Show less
