Hi I'm Angel Montanez

I believe we all have great potential! There is a reason why we are all here. I love how life is a time to experience progress!

About Me

My life has been really necessary. I have many people around me that I know I was meant to meet. My experience is that if you are not satisfied with what you do have, you may lose it. I have found that life can give you many opportunities. I want to be able to look back on my life and say that I had an impact. Does life have a purpose? Absolutely! I know that the path we walk is filled with experiences that serve the purpose of helping others along the way. I can relate to others who have faced some of the same trials that I have because I have gone through it. Most important to me is my knowledge that Jesus Christ comprehends all things! He has seen it all and been through it all. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. There is always someone who understands! We just have to reach out.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints gives me the ability to serve in a monumental way. I feel as if I am following Jesus Christ Himself when I participate in the various activities sponsored by the church. I know that I am seeking the kingdom of God when I get involved in the church. I have a greater sense of purpose and joy when I am able to serve others in the various ways. I feel that Heavenly Father is proud of me.

How I live my faith

I believe that living your faith involves a certain sense of humility. I have always tried to trust in God more than myself. There have been experiences in my life that have been discouraging, but I have never been discouraged when I did what I knew God wanted me to do.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Angel Montanez
Mormons live their life in a way that reflects the devotion they have inside. In the church we strongly adhere to covenants and we believe that doing so brings peace and joy by way of the Holy Ghost. I believe that the Mormons are happy because of the commitment they make on Sunday, to "always remember Him". The Savior Jesus Christ is the first thing on their minds throughout the week, and their hope at the end of the week. Show more Show less

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Angel Montanez
The keys of the kingdom are held by a council of men that form the apostles of Jesus Christ. Together they counsel on the ministry of the church. When there is a new prophet, he is called to his office through a process of revelation. Show more Show less
