Hi I'm Vicky Zerkle

I am from Las Vegas, NV & am serving in the Canada Toronto Mission! I love my family and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am 22 years old and currently on a mission in Toronto Canada. I grew up camping all summer long and riding dirt bikes with my brothers. I love playing volleyball and riding horses. I'm a photographer, I especially love taking photos of children and families. I love turquoise rings and have a ridiculous fear of needles. haha. I love my family so much and my horse and my dog! I love to be on the road and traveling!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me a better person. I need The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in my life. I need His constant guidance, I would be lost without it. He teaches me to love unconditionally. I need to know that I will see the people dear to my heart again, after they have left this world. He gives us that comfort. To spend the rest of forever with your family at your side is something I would give anything to achieve. So I will face any trail or hardship head high, because I have a goal in view. And it is not far off.

How I live my faith

I teach a class for 7 year olds every Sunday about church history, the life of Christ and life lessons like treating others respectfully and being thankful.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Vicky Zerkle
We all make mistakes. It's a simple fact, not one of us will ever make it through this life truly perfect. And no matter how independent or hard working we are, we are not able to become perfect on our own. Like a child, not spoiled by rudeness or things of the world. Always ready to learn or help at the drop of a hat. Always smiling. That is what I picture perfect to be. I believe that if we try our hardest, if we give life our all. We won't be anywhere near perfection, but Christ will make up for it. He lived and died and was risen again so we could smile without a shadow of guilt, knowing that we did our absolute best. We need him, because we can't get there by ourselves. We need someone to hold our hand and comfort us when it gets rough. To carry us when we get tired. To listen when we are troubled. To forgive us when we can't forgive ourselves. Show more Show less
