Hi I'm Russ

I grew up in Hurricane, Utah. I love working with computers and I'm a mormon

About Me

I love working with all things computer related. I worked as an IT Tech for over 6 years, but I'm striving to become more involved with the programming aspect of computers. I graduated from College with my Bachelors in Computers.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up and was baptized in the LDS faith but my testimony was very weak. At the age of 18, when I became an "adult", I began making decisions that were contrary to the church, No one to be a hypocrite,I became inactive. When I was 28 and I was going to college the party lifestyle faded and I became aware that I hadn't been as happy as the world said I should be, I was in college, I had a job, and a girl at my side. What more could I want? But before I even finished the question, the answer came: "Russ, your missing the Gospel." Not wanting to be a hypocrite I, again, chose one lifestyle over the other. I made the decision that I would come back to church 100%. Meaning I, repent fully, accept every calling, attend every meeting, read scriptures daily, pray at every meal and morning and night. It was by far the hardest thing I've ever done, and, consequently, by far the most fulfilling and rewarding. I was able to receive my Patriarchal Blessing, the Melchizedek Priesthood, and even be married in the temple. I now have a very firm testimony of the gospel, and that my Heavenly Father knows and cares for each of his children. And that Jesus is the Christ and suffered the fullness of iniquity so that ALL men might be given the gift of eternal life.

How I live my faith

I currently am serving in my ward as Assistant Ward Clerk, and I love it. Previous callings include Secretary and Activity Council Chairman.
