Hi I'm Alec

I love life. I love learning. I love seeking the good out of everything that God has created. My name is Alec, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Utah, I quickly became involved with many outdoor activities offered there. I love snow skiing in the winter, boating in the summer and mountain biking year round. I enjoy these activities most when I'm with my family and friends. I love the feeling of being surrounded by nature and knowing that everything within sight is created by God. I love art of any kind in any form. I love creating, sharing and being edified by art. Everything was created to testify of God and it's an incredible gift we've been given to use our talents and abilities to create and therefore testify of the goodness of God. I strive to seek the good out of everything that God has created and thus see each subject in its own beauty. Because I believe that everything was created to testify of God, I strive to use my talents and abilities to better the world around me and to become who God wants me to become.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to follow this gospel because I feel it is right. The feelings I get as I participate in this Church's activities testify to me that this is the right gospel to follow.

How I live my faith

Served in leadership postions in youth groups. Participated in various service projects in my ward.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

As Mormons we love to help everybody! Sometimes the excitement to help so much can be a little surprising to those who are not Mormon. I know that this excitement to help everyone comes as a result of coming to a knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ. As Mormons, we strive our best to reflect the example of Jesus Christ. If you need help in any form - physical, emotional, spiritual - someone doing their best to follow the example of Jesus Christ can help you. As you accept their efforts to help, you in turn will experience a more profound trust in God and a more sincere desire to help in return. Show more Show less
