Hi I'm Kendall

I'm a writer. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love school. I'm a good student who worries about grades and assignments and friends. I love to read good literature and write or critique essays. I've seen many movies and adore a sharp plot-twist, the occasional explosion, and a well-turned phrase.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it feels right. It's beautiful what being a part of this church has given me. I believe God restored this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, to bless His children. I have received many of those blessings, including supporting friends and exemplary mentors. I believe the words written in the Book of Mormon are true because I feel the witness of the Holy Spirit every time I read it. There is power and truth in that book, and in all the words of the prophets. It is a testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ lives. I've felt my burdens lifted from my shoulders as I go humbly to Him. I've learned, and am still learning, that the more I go to Him the more He comes to me, and the more I submit to His will the more of me I find. This gospel is true. My questions have been answered, my body strengthened, my mind enlightened, and my joy increased when I live it.

How I live my faith

I answer questions when they come to me. I look for ways to serve my neighbors--in so doing I find new strength and confidence. I strengthen the faith of myself and my friends by home-teaching them every month. I've had the opportunity to lead age-mates on camp-outs and activities.
