Hi I'm Sister Keara Johnson

I'm a writer, geek, whovian, and missionary in the New Mexico, Albuquerque Mission. I love to dance and be a goof. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After I finished my first semester of College at Weber State University in Utah last year, I decided to begin preparing to serve an mission for the LDS church. I've always wanted to go on a mission, but it wasn't easy deciding to go. I had lots of doubts, mainly if I was good enough to serve my lord. Through the help of great friends and an awesome mother, I was able to come to the conclusion that I should go. I know the lord will help me use my skills of being a good listener and a goofball to help me reach the hearts of the people of New Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

Living in Utah, I was born a into a Mormon family. When I was 8 I was baptized and became a member. That's not the only reason I am a Mormon. I wasn't always practicing my beliefs the way I should. When I was a teenager I struggled believing that God was really there. As I was taught to pray from a young age, I got down on my knees and prayed for God to tell me that he really was there and that he loved me. I felt his love for me and now my testimony is strengthened everyday when I go to church, read the scriptures, and pray. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I love to have fun, before I left on my mission I taught primary. The ages of the children I taught ranged between 8-9. I loved teaching the kids about Jesus and the church he established before he died. I am now a full-time missionary serving the lord everyday.
