Hi I'm Morgan Steiner

I grew up in a rural town called Rexburg. I worked on our farm with my whole family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be active no matter what it is I'm doing. Whether it is playing football with my friends or camping outdoors with my family. I like to have a good time with everybody I meet and love to meet new people. I grew up learning how to work. There were always chores around for me to do which helped me to do my best the first time through. I learned how to play the piano and the viola when i was about ten years old and I love to play them often. I am the youngest in my family with four older brothers that were great examples to me. They taught me many of the wonderful values found in a family. A lot of the things that they did I liked to follow because they were all hard working guys and were fun to be around. I just finished my first semester of college and It has been a great experience. I want to become a physical therapist, which is the dream job for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and decided to stay in this church, because i found out for myself that these principles are true. I was taught to pray and read the scriptures which really helped learn what this church is all about. Praying helped me build a relationship with my Heavenly father and has strengthened my faith in Him. Every time I earnestly read the scriptures including the Book of Mormon I can feel that they are true and that this church is true. I am a Mormon because of the wonderful people that are also Mormons. I grew up in a wonderful community, with a great family and awesome friends that were good for me. I loved being able to see the Lord's hand in my life and in the lives of those around me. Looking for the good in our lives helped me to see the Divine nature of God and grew a testimony that these things are true. Living in an environment that was good helped me to feel the spirit and know good from bad. I am a Mormon because that is who I am and how I want to live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to reach out to those around me. I believe that giving service best shows my faith. Sometimes it is hard to find a way that I can serve someone I might run into, but I find that If you are always searching for those opportunities to serve that I can always find something to do. When I do something for somebody else, it makes my day seem all worthwhile. It isn't always something big, like cleaning up somebody's yard, but something that shows that I care about that particular person or group of people. When there is an event to go serve with my ward or a group of neighbors I always try to go with them if I can. It can be hard to have a good attitude when the work is hard or when I would rather be somewhere else, but I like to think that what I'm doing is worth more to that one person than what I would rather be doing to me.
