Hi I'm Brandon Alcocer Seoane

I am a health insourance agent, an artist, and a great friend. I speak english, spanish, and chinese. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a Health insurance agent helping seniors with their medicare. I love working with people and be able to help them enjoy a better life. I also am a paintor and use oil paints a a medium. I love being able to capture people's emotions in my paintings and share the happiness I feel while really capturing the beauty of their personalities. I am a very open person and love to make friends. My goal in my artistic career is to be able to paint religious portraits for the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of the spiritual experiences it has brought to my life. The church itself is a great institution dedicated to bring forth the message of the savior. Being a mormon is believing and following that message, which is the message of the restauration. I have a testimony that my savior lives. I have shed many tears of happiness as I have come closer to my savior and understanding his love for me. I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and this is the church of his resurrected son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith throughout most of what I do. I pray almost all day long for strength to accomplish all tasks layed before me. I love painting portraits of my savior. The spirit I feel as I capture the love of his ministry in a canvas really leads my hands. The spirit has helped me become a much better artist than I would be other wise. I love serving people and sharing my art with them, but most of all I love sharing how my savior has brought eternal happiness to my life.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Brandon Alcocer Seoane
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints does not worship Joseph Smith in any way. We do have a lot of respect and love for him for being the means of restoring the gospel of Jesus Christ. Personally for me it is a matter of recognizing his life-long sacifice as he suffered all manner of persecution for the sake of my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith like any other prophet in the history of the world deserves respect and the study of his life as it allows us to come closer to our Heavenly Father. As we study the interactions between the Lord and his servants our own faith can be strengthened. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet called of God, yet I do not worship him, but I do thank my God for calling prophets to help and lead our way closer to our Savior. Show more Show less

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Brandon Alcocer Seoane
Homosexuality is a very delicate subject in the eyes of many, but I feel it is just another challenge in people's lives. Many people struggle over various sins, (drugs, pornography, lying, stealing, abusing others, coveting , and so on) which are a challenge and a struggle for them. Yet, even though these people may be breaking the law of God they are still loved by Him. The same goes for Homosexuality, its not a choice to have certain feelings, but it is a choice to act upon them. The fact that they are attracted to their same sex doesn't mean they have to follow those emotions. We as humans are attracted to many people and have many physical desires, yet many implement their better judgement against these impulses. Those who do not control themselves are not hated by God, but are loved by Him as He does all He can do to bring them back in to His path and happiness. Homosexuals as well as anyone struggling wih a physical drive to break the commandments of the Lord, can be strengthened as they study the gospel of Jesus Christ and pray for help to our Heavenly Father. They can then partake of the blessings of obtaining their own family as they take upon themselves the role they were meant to have in this life. Show more Show less
