Hi I'm Sean Escobar

I am from Upland, California. I am headed to Lyon, France for my mission. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am nineteen years old. I was a student at BYU-Idaho. My major is health science and someday i wish to be a sports medicine doctor or a sports physician. I have been mormon all my life and I love it. I am now currently waiting to head out to my mission in Lyon France. I love soccer, good music, good movies, and anything that interests me. I'm a bit of an enthusiast. I love to try anything that gets my blood pumpin, physically and/or mentally.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my parents. It's cliche to say, but it's true. Even though i was raised in the mormon faith, didn't mean i wanted to be in it. I struggled my high school years but everything changed when I started to see many of my friends receive mission calls. How their eyes watered up and their face brightening to see where they are headed to serve the Lord. I pondered many nights and prayed to see if it was right for me. I received an answer after many sleepless nights. I knew it was right for me. Ever since the day of my full conversion to the Lord, my life has been filled with happiness and love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to find service. That is the only way i can find true happiness. The church is constantly throwing events for our community. For example, i have participated for Mormon Helping Hands. It is a time where we as a ward gather together and do community service. We either paint, clean, or build for a school, hospital, or park. It always brings me great joy.
