Hi I'm Austin

I dance, act, and sing and I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to sing, act, and dance. I plan on majoring in musical theatre. I also play soccer and baseball. I love watching movies and getting to meet new people. I love to travel and hope to one day make it to NYC to study and perform.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I should be. I have had so many neat experiences in my life to deny this church. Even though I was raised into this church, I still had my own conversion. I came to the true knowledge of my own by sincere prayer and by studying the Book of Mormon. It is a true testament of the Lord's restored gospel and the lessons that they entail. It is never too late to come back to Christ and you can never be out of his reach. Take it from someone who has personally felt like that. This church gives me so much comfort and power. All you need to do to start knowing for yourself is praying honestly for some sign and He will provide it. I am a Mormon because I believe in Him.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and help those in my community when they ask it. I go to my neighbors and friends and talk to them when they need and I go to just be around them as well. I try to meet someone new on a regular basis and I do what I can to help those that need it.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

As the Official Church Answer says, it is a strong tradition and is strongly encouraged for both men and women. But the answer is no, not all Mormons are required to serve. The missionary age has changed though where men can leave at 18 and women at 19. The Church believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn the truth and that it is why it is strongly recommended for members to serve missions. Show more Show less
