Hi I'm Sarah Jenson

I am from San Diego. Through service I find true joy. Smiling is my favorite. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the next 18 months and I LOVE IT. I was called to the Arizona Phoenix Mission to speak Spanish. I am a student at Brigham Young University in Utah and am leaning towards studying business. Laughing is one my favorite things to do. I love skiing, scuba diving, traveling, playing tennis, enjoying nature, playing piano, and spending time with loved ones. My favorite place in the world is Bear Lake and spending time there with my cousins and enjoying the nature. I love life and feel so blessed to have this gospel in it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me an indescribable happiness and joy. Being a Mormon is not easy. And it doesn't take away all over our problems. But through living this faith, I am able to feel a peace in the chaotic and loud world. Even though I grew up in the Mormon Church, I still had to find out for myself if it is true church. And I can say without a doubt that I know that it is the one and true church on the earth today. Finding out for myself did not just come overnight. I had to live the commandments, read my scriptures, and pray. For years. It was through little experiences when I felt the spirit, that I gained my unshakable testimony. Being a Mormon gives me a strong foundation that helps me see a bigger vision and perspective in life. I know who I am, why I am here, where I came from, and where I am going.

How I live my faith

Living this gospel daily is crucial. Everyday, I feast in the scriptures, converse with my Father in Heaven, and feel my Savior's love through serving. I can't go a day without doing these things or else I feel completely lost. This world is hard to live in. The consistency of the gospel helps me overcome whatever problem I am facing in life. Through living this gospel, I feel free. I know that what I am doing is pleasing in the eyes of God and that is all that matters.
