Hi I'm Erin

My happiness comes from my family and living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a wife, a mother of 4, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I never thought I would end up raising my family in a tiny town in Idaho. But I am so happy that Heavenly Father led my family to this great community. I feel blessed everyday to wake up to the view of nearby farms and rolling hills. As a family we own and operate two Fitness Centers here in Idaho and I have mastered the art of filing monthly taxes the night before they are due. I love being a stay at home mother and find so much joy and fulfillment raising my energetic kids. I married the most amazing man on the planet and everyday I feel blessed and lucky to be his wife. I'm pretty sure I have only had to clean the toilets 5 times in our marriage, so you guys can understand just how great he is. He is constantly serving our family, he never stops...and I love him. I am currently trying to teach myself how to play the piano and the violin, how to use my DSLR camera, how to use photoshop and illustrator, how to keep my house clean, and how to not lose my temper. So far I haven't mastered any of them. But I am still trying. I am our ward mid-week activities coordinator and while it is a lot of work, I love serving with the women of my ward. I recently swallowed a worm during a neighborhood Halloween party and I am still trying to recover from the mental effects of it. Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you. I hope you find the answers you are seeking here on Mormon.org.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it...but imperfectly. Surprise, I'm not perfect. I'm a Mormon because I need redemption, which I've found through Jesus Christ and the covenants I have made. I'm a Mormon because I want to be bound eternally to my family. I'm a Mormon because I believe we have a living prophet on the Earth. I'm a Mormon because I have read The Book Of Mormon and I know that it is the word of God. I'm a Mormon because living my faith brings me joy and happiness. And. I am. Happy. For REAL.

How I live my faith

Well, I live my faith day by day. One prayer at a time, one good choice at a time, one righteous desire followed by another. I think its important to live life by the small whispering's of the spirit. I try to keep my life uncluttered so that the important things don't get lost in the busyness that can come from too much stuff. I've found that choosing to be happy, to find the good in everything and everyone has helped me really love the people around me. My motto is, "Just assume that everyone is doing the best that they can." It isn't always easy to chose to be happy, but I'm always happy when I do.
