Hi I'm Bryant Crumpton

I've lived and grown up in Texas my whole life. I'm serving in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Texas all my life and I love it. I really enjoy music. Classical, Metal, Dubstep, Rock, Pop, Japanse, K- pop, Indie, and everything else (except for Rap). I used to play the cello and practiced the piano for a bit, but circumstances led to giving up on playing instruments. I like to use a different instrument these days. The pen. I love spending my time drawing and coming up with new ideas and even recreating things from memory. I probably spent more time doing that than paying attention in seminary. I also love technology. The many uses for it amazes me, and I like to take advantage of what I'm provided with. Using the technology I have I can create many things on my computer. I use Photoshop to draw things faster and easier on the computer than I would be able to on a pencil and paper. Another thing I enjoy with technology is being able to create things on a 3-D scale. Molding objects to look how I want and animate them to create a story that I can share with others. That is why I plan to study Computer Animation when I return from my mission that I am going to serve at Pocatello, Idaho. I also enjoy playing video games in my free time. The story aspect of the games is what really intrigues me. Combining the interest level of reading a book and the entertainment of watching a movie. There are games that tell the story in a set fashion and others that give you the option of creating your own ending. The freedoms put in your hands are amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I initially joined the church through my parents. They are both converts and that has led me to be raised and live my life in the church. As I attend church each Sunday and go to the activities I enjoy the company of my friends that share my beliefs and standards. Even though I've been raised in the church, I am a Mormon because I feel it is right. I have chosen on my own accord to follow the teachings of Christ and I have seen the great results that it has had on my life. Each day I try to help myself by helping others and never deny a challenge set in front of me.

How I live my faith

I help with as many things as I can in my community. Whether someone needs help moving in or cleaning up, I enjoy helping them any way I can. Right now I have the opportunity of being a missionary serving in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. I get back home December 2014 and I'm loving it out here. I miss my family and my friends, but I know that it will all be worth it in the end.
