Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a college student headed towards dental hygiene school. I love racing, creating music and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on an urban farm where I really learned to enjoy the outdoors. Now I'm a sophomore in college with the goal of becoming a dental hygienist. During high school I developed a love for running that has now expanded to include competing in local 10k races and half marathons. Music is also a huge part of my life, especially playing the piano and singing with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church gives me the peace and direction that I need in my life. Although I grew up in the church, I was a senior in high school when I finally began to actively seek for myself to find out if if all of the things I had been taught my whole life were true. The answer that I got was powerful and came exactly when I needed it. I continue to follow the gospel because I've found that doing so gives me complete happiness and security in my life. Things may be hard and at times I struggle, but the gospel keeps me grounded and reminds me that there are things that are so much greater than what I'm experiencing now.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live the gospel to the fullest I can. I participate in my ward by teaching the fourteen year old youth each Sunday. I get to discuss gospel principles with them so that they can gain a testimony of the gospel for themselves.
